MS Ban Hammer - 10.30.09

No problem I guess its safe to say this ban is over. I havent seen any new noobs in here crying with their diatribes over being banned. A big thanks to all the posters who shared their information and knowledge on how not to get banned throughtout the past! Thanks to you guys i havent been banned since!

If I got the gamer tag bann where I cant use my downloaded content and stuff, can I use my games saves while I am playing offline after the Bann,

Another haughty "high ranking" member of this site. I remember back when started modding I came to this site and the people here were more than generous in answering questions for "noobers". IDK if most of those members left or what, but this is just sad. I've also flashed a couple of 360's, BTW. Just for friends and family, but I guess because I don't post 50 times a day I am a Newbie.

Getting on topic, stay smart and you won't get banned, pretty simple. Everyone who says they never played an unverified or unstealthed game or played a game early is probably lying. If someone truly got banned and they went through every precaution, then maybe MS is finally starting to get a clue.

but plz some ppl are saying that when they got the gamer tag bann they cant copy their gamer profile to other disk,(data corupt)
So after the gamertag ban you can only play this profile on this Hard disk on this only console (offline) !?

 

signed in this morning not banned have 1.51 liteon buy games from established seller so they must be good copies from retail disc, had dvdrom flashed by someone not using my consoles power supply that might be how they find flashed consoles?

 

From what I gather, some scene releases don't have a verified match in ABGX. Examples: SF4 - KFC, Halo ODST - AllStars, NFS Shift - PhaseZero, Fight Night Round 4 - CCCLX, Red Faction: Gorilla - Spare. So if you didn't fix them before burning, they will fail. Then you wonder if that release simply isn't in the ABGX database, or if ABGX is fixing them incorrectly. What's the chances that the release groups released bad images after all.

I encourage all who have been banned to recheck all of their disks.

Just saw that the ban hammer is back this year.
Tried to read this thread but became a bit of a joke.
Just logged onto live and was prompted for an update. Is this definatly the ban or is there a chance of it being something else. Haven't been on live for about 2 weeks.
My dvd drive doesn't run well so I really don't want to lose being able to save games to the hd.
My drive samsung ms28 fw 1.6
had been played with original fw for years before flash
was banned last year but played pre release
downloaded games from usenet and verified in abgx

ROFL This made me laugh for real!!! This is what i have to deal with Andmill11.. Thats not even close to being a slip of words, thats just plain Dyslexia.

 

If your not on M$ list of banned then you'll be fine after the update! Think about how you've dealt with stealthing your games in the past and then decide whether updating or not. Weigh out your options regarding your dvd drive problems. But if you believe youve been perfect with the stealthing steps then go for it!

How can ABGX fix games incorrectly ??
So if a SHift version is on ABGX verified and checked,and I have another Shift, will ABG fix my shift with the stealth patch one available online...So that would be incorrectly ??
