    Just got banned. Played NBA 2k10, Live 10,COD:WAW, Need for Speed Shift and Madden. Guess its time for my Gamestop warranty to be used.

    1)Don't play games early
    2)use abgx and make sure it is 100% approved to burn

    Even by doing this you still might get banned we don't know how much M$ knows.

    To be even safer flash,rip, and burn all your stuff on your own. If you want something done right do it yourself

    My gamertag is banned. I have a non mod console and I tried to move my profile over and it wont let me sign in. it just says corrupt profile

    did you read posts?
    many people who did all that still got banned... even ripping the game themselves and verifying.

    or is it gamertag + console too?

    If im not mistaken 1.4 is a firmware with less security than 1.5 and up so i would suspect having 1.4 would not help in not getting banned.

    This is just a theory, and yeah Ill get flamed for doing so as Im used to here, but Im just guessing that MAYBE your IP adress might be part of the history of flagging for bans.
    Meaning, lets say in 2008 you played a moded console, in 2009 you got RROD and got a new one, (legally or illegall case swap) So this new 2009 console has NOT been modded, all of a sudden you get baned, having used the same IP adress for 2 to 3 years.

    Also toss in teh fact maybe your budy had brought his memory use din your console or his console alone, as that has modded info or the console itself

    Just a theory.

    According to the message, just the console. Warranty seal is still intact so I'm gonna just go from there. Hopefully I can get another before a good copy of COD when it leaks.

    I can still get online with my non mod. I have a seperate profile (for halo3) that I use on it. But I keep another profile on a memory card that I used to be able to sign in any where. Now I can only sign in on the console thats banned. if I try on the non mod it says corupt profile.

    GO2helBLU - Neither of my two consoles are modded, for the last few days one console has been giving me the whole "can't sign in" runaround. Eventually it signs in, and my network setup is fine/hasn't changed for ages. Last night i eventually got signed in by starting a game up and then signing into Live once the game itself asked me to (ie couldn't sign in manually beforehand). I get no error numbered screens, just the annoying (and false) moderate NAT error message.

    I sign into my modded console. a message pops up. You have been banned from xboxlive for violate the terms of use. I switch console sign in my other profile. Signed into xbox live. Try to sign in profile on MU. dosent even show up. I go into setting/memory/MU it shows the profile name and unerneath it says corrupt profile. so I assume both my console and profile are banned.
