MS Ban Hammer - 10.30.09

I havent played forza3. My recent games are SVR2010 and Borderlands.

 

Sure I do, is it not within reason to suggest that the drive can be checked for firmware just as the firmware version on your pc's drive can be checked with the right tools? A ping is an acknowledgment request. Do we have to start a network 101 class for you?

 

After reding all of that, I decidec to log on live to check.

I was prompted the live update. Cancelled it and turned off the console.

I BELIEVE that if my console was offered the update, it means it's not banned. Right? Can you guys confirm me that?

 

i think i would agree? haha download it and spend more than a few minutes if you dare

 

you got a offensive motto or bio you will get suspended for 24/48 hours if its your first offense

 

I've had a customer of mine call and say that he got banned, He was playing left 4 dead and had halo 3 ODST but did I not even obtain it until weeks after its release. I also ran everything through abgx and have not played any of the titles that have given me an issue thus far (smackdown v raw 10) among a few. I'm pretty sure he hasn't played anything early as I'm his source.

 

For what its worth, I have a Hitachi 79 drive and I haven't been banned yet.

i just got home from work to find out that i got banned. it was my console NOT my gamertag. LUCILY, I'm one of the few people that has a NON-modded 360 as a backup..... guess i have to get my original NBA2K10 from my cousin who has been enjoying the pleasures of 2 free games madden10 & nba10. i guess that sucks for him......

 

So everyone who got banned or who knows someone who is banned, is it both console and accounts that are getting banned or is it a mixture?

 

not that we'll ever know, but i wonder if it has something to do with the bad dmi from ufc/red faction from abgx a few months back?

 

Legueux of gx-mod.com informed us that Zouzzz managed to unban his Xbox 360 console from LIVE on their forums by swapping the keyvault of his banned Xbox360 with the keyvault of another (not banned) Xbox 360.
However it's not something that everyone out there can do (yet) as you'll need your CPU key (via Hypervisor Exploit and if you got banned it means you're on the latest kernel so you'll need to perform the 'Timing Attack' to downgrade first). You'll also need all the tools to read/flash your Xbox 360 NAND (with the Infectus chip for example).

Here are the things he tried:
* downgrade banned 5787 PAL to 4532 NTSC U, updated again to 5787 via HD. Still banned.
* downgrade banned 5787 PAL to 1888 PAL, updated again to 5787 via HD. Still banned.
* Patched his original 1888 PAL dump with the last number of the Xbox 360 serial in the keyvault (location A0 to AB) changed. Still banned.
* Patched his original 1888 PAL dump with the all the numbers of the Xbox 360 serial in the keyvault changed. Still banned.
* Replaced the full keyvault in his original 1888 PAL dump of the banned console with a keyvault of an unbanned console. Connected to LIVE OK, updated to latest kernel online OK, still connects fine to LIVE.

*update* Zouzzz posted a video showing his banned console and how it'll connect fine to LIVE again after he flashes the console with his 1888 dump with patched keyvault of an unbanned console.

 

yea thats something we can all do easily. congrats now all the noobs are gonna be swarming around "tell me how to unban my console"
the money spent on infectus and the trouble doing it might as well just sell the banned one and get a new arcade

Ok has anybody that has been "banned" did you at least have sense enough to reset your router? I us the wireless and couldnt connect so I ran the test and no connection.........so I reset the router and connected..... Just wanted to point this out so that everyone that cant connect try that first before posting

 

Hmmm, ok i was just about to flash to 1.61 but i'll wait, havent checked my console yet :S I'll edit post once i find out.

Has it been posted any where of people getting banned with the
"NME V2 chip?" Seems to me like its just those with flashed firmware's
and other cheaper mod chips.

Product Information states that its a ban proof chip.
Im not a xbox owner but I wont buy one until I know for sure if that particular chip performs as it says its supposed to.

So has any one here been banned with this chip or know of any 1 who was banned with it. You guys know it would help to post details of your modded box's that got banned as so we can compile relevant info for future endeavors of ban prevention.
