Everyone is still blaming the firmware being detected. Call it what you want , I was the first to get hit on OCT 30th , started this thread and since made a test. Almost identical to C4E. I have two boxes , both running 1.61 virgins ( never played a backup) and the one who is only plawying retail is still fine. The other one , not so much , played at least 10 verified backups and banned on nov 12th. Just my 2 cents.

Kreon firmware has been making bad rips that look legit. I have high suspicions that this was one of the main reasons for the recent ban wave.

 

Yeah well didn't C4eva and whoever claim all the previous firmware was "undetectable" also?? And look what happened to most of us. MS is smart and will continue banning people, regardless of new firmware or not.

 

All this flaming off C4eva firmware is really starting to get on my tits.
We ALL knew the risks of using modified firmware that eventually M$ would find a way to find us out.
Look on the bright side all the money you may have saved on games you can use on a new console if your that desperate to go back onlive.
Me personally i looked at X-box Live as a perk for my console thats all.
Big deal i have been banned of live woopie do dah i didnt really care about live as i have my PC for all the multi player goodness that i will ever need.

I think we will be really lucky if C4eva releases the light touch firmware, as many of the threads around all the forums try to blame him, Dont take it personaly guys we knew it would happen 1 day

Its not ironic mate, im not saying dont flash your consol i did and i got banned but i accept it because the service is worth it to me. If they ban my pc with windows 7 pirate ill buy that too. Fortunately they cant
