MS Ban Hammer - 10.30.09

Interesting.....So here is the story as of right now....
My elite got banned a cpl weeks back and i Had Hitachi 1.5 never played Early and always Verified with ABGX...was playing RETAIL version of CODMW2 and got banned....
Now My other Old as Shite xbox that i had since 2006 had gotten the RROD since 2007 and i was overseas and never bothered to fix it till recently so when i finally got it fixed it had no updates since 2007 so i never connected it to xbox live and used a completely different HDD on it and played all my early games on it Even the Not so trusted versions of CODMW2 a week before it was released cuz i figured Im not going to ever go online with this old console anywayz....so after doing that... My elite ups and gets banned....so i then took the HDD from it an put it on the Old one that i been playing all the early games on....It updated as soon as i put in the Ethernet cord and Now I have been playing on Live since CODMWF2 came out and still no ban...hmmmm im guessing since i haven't played any backups at all since going online that i haven been flagged at all yet...but it is all too funny

 

Ah man... you got us there. And this whole time we thought C4E was releasing the firmware for all to use for free. None of us ever realized we were stealing it from him.

And odd enough... you got banned. I guess that groups you right in with the rest of us script thieves. 8)

 

doh they got me been offline waiting for LT but connected by accident when messing with the settings - looks like they were waiting for me as I was banned in seconds.

o well - fun while it lasted, best get down to game tomorrow for the next box.

No one said he was a god but he's pretty darn smart and his work has allowed us to play our backups for quite some time. That deserves respect from those of us who look forward to the new FW releases. Don't go throwin' a temper tantrum cause someone called you on your BS post. I have a friend who hasnt been banned yet. He's been playing MW2 original online, and now he's started playing online with a backup of COD4. I will let you know if he gets banned in the next few days.

AMEN Panispy!!! Bhetrick think's he called me out on some BS. I still have no idea what he is talking about...Flashing a drive is NOT modding. My grandmother could do it. And yes this whole scene is gay..It would be one thing if there were homebrew involved..but this is all about stealing and playing illegal copies. Anyone who says they are playing legit backups are full of it..I know some people do...but for real people what is the percentage that acctually do...and the ones that claim they only play backups are only saying that to support the "cause"...you know Im right Bhetrick, go ahead and deny it and act like you know whats up..Dont be such a tool..

I also want to correct myself..I am a thief also I am aware of that..But Ive come to a realize that playing backups is really gay...how many of you have 40 games burnt but have only played a few..That is just really a waste if you ask me...support the game makers and buy the product..In return we will get better games Im certain of that!
