but how wud u get the profile over to the banned one if its banned ya cant use the xbox live on it

 

ummm with the Hard drive or the memory unit you are physically swapping back and forth between the 2 xbox's

 

o so we wud put on har drive in the flashed one then when u have played ya games u wud but the hard drive back in non flashed and then recover yes

 

yes esactly but i was saying that when you do that the new gamerscore and achievements gained dont get applied cause when the profile was used it was also corrupted. so when you recover it you will not have those.

 

There is a tutorial on the site for uncorrupting the profile by hooking up the 360 hd to a computer and uncorrupting it that way. This can also be used to uncorrupt saves too. Therefore, there is no need to recover the profile on xbox live but this method will have to be done every time the profile is put back on to the banned console. The advantage is; the achievements you earn on the banned box can be updated on to live after you have uncorrupted the profile, transferred it to an unbanned box and connected to live. OK, now that LT has been released finally is it safe to play any backups that I have done myself? I have always used an external sammy/kreon drive to rip my discs, all my backups are from orig disc no downloads. I have gone back and re-checked all files and everything I have ripped is SplitVid. I plan on getting a new box and having it flashed with LT, just want some insight as to if it will be safe or not to go on live with. Thanx.

 

do a quick search on the boards man... that question has been answered over and over recently.

it will never be %100 safe to play a modded console online. there is also speculation about SSv2 right now. the scene is saying that there are no checks for SSv2 right now but there could be in the future.

your kreon drive can't get SSv2. from now going forward everybody would suggest you get the 0800 firmware and rip your games with that.

 

Can u use a the hard drive off a banned 360 and put it on a new 360 to play online with screwing up the new 360

 

Yes you can, you just have to format it again due to the banned box corrupting the data once it hits the new box.

You don't HAVE to format. You can connect your 360 hard drive to your computer and use a hex editor to uncorrupt your profile, keeping your achievements. Google for a tutorial.

 

Has anyone heard or used the Xecuter xDrive?

 

its just a 360 drive in its own case that you flash with your key. you can keep your original 360 drive stock fw and when you need to update from live you can unplug the xecuter drive and switch to the stock drive so it is safer to get updates. you can probably use it to rip games too if you put 0800 on there but im guessing on that

Can I just saw how I love reading the first page or so of this thread haha It makes me laugh everytime.
