Recently, I have been having a lot of problems with my computer that neccessitated deleting some program, reinstalling them etc. So, onto my problem. Today I tried to Open Microsoft Word 2002 which I have somehow upgraded from my MS Office 2000 that I have had forever. However, Word refuses to open and I get the following error message. This patch could not be verfied. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package. I went to MS.com and thought I downloaded what I needed to and still getting that same error. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks for the help.
if you have your key why not go back to office 2000.im still running 2000 premium and it does everything i need it to do.
