MS25 PART NUMBER???

    ok all i wanna do is replace my ms25 drive in my 360 thats what i have in it and it went out other nite and i tried the magnet trick and that only worked for couple hours and in that process i tore off part number but i know it is a ms25 ver A. h/w 005.

    CAn anyone point me in right direction on what drive i need to buy i looked on ebay and there are a bunch of ms25 with differnt part numbers,i just wanna swap the boards in back and go nothing else, so can someone tell me the exact drive i need?? ty

    any samsung ms25 drive's board will work.

    SO it doesnt matter what part number is?? as long as it says ms 25 i should have no problem just switching boards??

    the ms25 i had spoofed and installed into my console and is working fine is a TS-H943

    you can't just put in the board and go. you will get a hardware error or "put disc in xbox 360" error. plus you mention the magnets were screwed up or something? anyway you need the key out of the original to put into the replacement. in that case you can use any drive you want except the latest liteon.

    He said he is replacing an ms25 with another ms25... so, yes, he can just swap the old board in to the new drive.

    ya just switching a ms25 with A MS 25,SO i can do that right? And just switch the boards right? with doing nothing else?

    ok all i want is exact 1.. what s part number??
    Part Number: X800473-016 or X800473-019 is this 1 of them or is the ms25 a different part number? ty

    I have the 019 sitting here on my desk which I use for ripping games, and it's a ms28.

    You want the 016.

    thAKS for you guys help im going to go and try find a ms 25 on ebay with a 016 part number
