Ms25 Spoofing Problems

I cant get my drive to spoof as a ms25.
i downloaded ixtreme 1.4 fw
unpacked the files
placed my orig.bin file in the folder with ixtreme firmware.cmd batch file
ran the batch file
flashed the ix14.bin file to my od

games stutter and freeze and its not playing to the full potential

-could be bad media, ill have to buy better discs, where and what kind of discs should i buy?
but when i hooked back up my blaster 360 to my computer and boot up i have to use the 10 second trick to flash it back to orig.bin file

i have tried to use 360fwtoolbox to spoof the fw but ever time(yes even this way) i hook it back up to my pc it reads my od as a ms28 when its a ms25.

my hardware:
via 6421 sata card
pioneer dvr-112d dvd dl burner
sh-d162c dvd-rom
dvd dl discs, (im going to buy better discs just to be safe)
xbox360
blaster 360 installed
ms25 samsung drive
a backup ms25 samsung drive
a usb flash drive(for iprep, 360sam, mtkflash, ect..)

can anyone please help?
