What version of windows are you running? If its XP there is no DOS.

I'm running WinXP Media Center also and I have DOS.

Search your computer for "dos". Something should come up.

In XP to get a command prompt just go to start then run and type cmd. Typing command only works in 9x. There should also be a Command Prompt icon under Accessories in the start menu.

Typing CMD in the run box should work if not just go to Start-Acessories Comand Prompt in that folder. Otherwise if u want it that bad just restart the computer and boot the computer in dos mode by pressing F8 if that is still the comand for your windows version.

Yea, command.com is still there but only to maintain backwards compatibility with 16 bit programs that look for it. For XP, you should use cmd.exe since it is a 32 bit program.
