Got my 3870 couple of months ago and couldn't really get the drivers off the CD working so I downloaded just display drivers from ATI. Recently started having my computer reboot randomly and take forever at startup and sometimes it loops with a bluescreen, but I can't tell what it says. I've googled the issue and have found out that it is the HDaudio drivers that are causing the error. I have found no working solution to the problem so if anyone has any ideas plz Post. I am running 8.3 drivers and just got CCC working tonight but I still seems to be getting bluescreen after restarting on occasion. I guess I just need a way to actually install the audio driver and solve the issue.
What are the rest of you PC's specs? Also, did you try completely removing the CCC from Ad/Remove programs, rebooting and reinstalling the 8.3s? One more thing, use the 8.3s only if you're using Vista. They work better on vista (benchmarks show) than XP. If you're using XP get the 8.2s.
