Hey im on my mates pc now, but i had a virus through msn, someone wrote hey is this a pic of u, with a link below it, i clicked it and my comp just turned off, when i put it back on it was cutting out straight away, i finally managed to turn it on but now when its on its extremely slow and i get lots of pop ups , iv ran a virus program and deleted some as it said trojans but my comp is still dead slow and i get a lot of pop ups when connected to the net. I have windows xp. Any help
what computer protection do you have? When you run the anti-virus scanners you should (in this case) not have your computer connected to the internet as any trojans, worms etc will use this connection and may make it slower. Also any passwords and user names, credit card numbers or just anything personal entered while the trojans are in your computer are no longer private, so you might want to think about changing your msn password. Try downloading hijackthis, ad-aware (both are free) and avast from your friends computer and put in on yours. Past the hijackthis log into this convosation and i'll see if i can find anything wrong.
