Hello all! Just got a bluray burner for my computer finally, and I'm wanting to burn mts files that I've taken with my Canon HF200 to bluray discs. Until now, I have been using DVDs to create AVCHD discs. Now I want to put all the files on bluray discs, preferably with menus (but not a neccessity). What would be the easiest way for me to go about this? I would prefer free software, but would not mind paying for good software. All advice and suggetions are appreciated!
Aight w/ out menus imgburn will do it. W/ menus I like roxio or nero. Your drive should came w/ some warez.
Would I be able to add more than one mts file at a time with imgburn, or can I add multiple files to burn onto one disc? I currently use imgburn for DVDs and for making AVCHDs.
So, just to make sure that I have this straight, first I open imgburn and go to the "build" mode. Then drag the mts files that I want to burn in the imgburn window. Then make sure that I have udf 2.50 selected. Then click burn. After it's done this disc will play in my bluray player. Is this correct? there is nothing else special I need to do when adding the files to imgburn? Thanks for the help.
use TSMUXER to mux the m2ts files into a bluray disc then burn w/ imgburn. I did'nt mention tsmuxer cause I did'nt realize you was going to play on a stand alone. But yes you drag or use the browse icon in the build menu to select the file you want. Use format udf 2.5 and burn. With the blu-ray mux fron tsmuxer you'll play on your stand alones or ps3.
