In DVD2One.1.1.2 you can compress episode dvd & keep menu and extras.

I've just done my first "episode" DVD (X Files) and used DVDshrink.

I hads to use Smartripper first (error encountered using DVD shrink for rip and compress). Having said that, once ripped, re encode and burned, video looks not too bad (VERY slight pixelation) but also very watchable.

    Recomended for first time users.

Thanks for the responses, unfortunately I need something that is more specific to DVDMaestro. Since I have to first convert to NTSC from PAL, programs like DVD2One or DVDshrinker won't work.

Ah OK , I hear ya.
My mates Toshiba Stand Alone will only play PAL even though it supports DVD-R (I'd have taken it back personally cos I have a PAL or NTSC on TV,Video & Sony Stand Alone)

Thought it was the standard now to be able to play both.
    My bad !
