I am able to make a DVD video from a DVD. Now I would like to fit more than 1 DVD (both under 2 gig) on 1 DVD with Nero. Is there a guide available for this? Also what happens when you compress the main movie by any %. Does it change the movie quality or the recording time?
Thanks for the info....so I can conclude from looking over the material that I need TMPGEnc DVD and Nero is not able to do it.
Nero Recode might be able to do it also , if you have it you might want to check it out as it'll soon tell you with an error/warning screen that it isn't gonna do what you've asked of it. Haven't tried it myself as I usually have 1 DVD-Video per disc !
Just had a look & it seems straight forward. ;-) Open Nero Recode > Import DVD ['fit to disk' box ticked] ...next. Can't go any further myself as I have no DVD files on my HDD(s) I'll have a browse about for a guide , but seems easier just playing - lol
Well I tried it... Nero Recode...and am not sucessful. First the program only allows you to burn the DVD at a time. When you try to do the 2nd DVD it errors. It also will not play in a DVD player. It appears the DVD closes off and doesn't remain open for additioal tracks or movies.
Well TMPGEnc DVD Author will let you add more than one set of DVD files definitely. If you use http://www.chrismccann.co.uk/tmpgenc_dvd_author.htm you'll find not only the guide there but a link to 30 day free trial [fully working]
