I am looking to buy a multimedia external hard drive. I want a 500GB that can easily plug into my tv to watch movies, pictures and listen to music. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I would not go with Maxtor. The Seagate HDs are statistically the most reliable. If you are planning to use it to watch movies, you are going to want something fast with a large buffer.
