Has anyone got experience/good advice in creating a DVD-R (dual layer) video disc which will play on most DVD-Players which contains multiple movies (selectable through menu), and was created from sources such as a XVID encoded AVI's with mp3 or ac3 audio? I want to do this with minimum effort, waste and maximum quality, I know the quality won't great, but I have seen these 5in1 DVD-R's in Asia before and they were watchable IMO. I have skimmed many guides (3hrs today, lots of hours in past), but none which compile all neccessary steps for this objective. From what I read, I could create SVCD compliant files which can then be input to a DVD authoring program such as TMPGEnc DVD Author to output DVD (non compliant, but high success rates, SVCD stream?) files, but I don't know if this is the BEST method, and if there is a program which could do this in one go (convert mulitple input XVID (calc DVD size) to SVCD's, create menus/DVD structure/format and produce image or burn image, resulting with no stutter/out of sync etc). I think alot of people along with myself would benefit from knowing a clean set of instructions and recommendations from the video wizards out there. Please Help. Thanks.
I would recommend that you join the movies you want to burn with video joing software fromthis website. Then when they are joined, convert them to dvd with this software. Don't worry about the menu. Just a basic guide. Hope it helps.Enjoy!
