I want to create different DVDs for TV Series I download in Divx. My DVD player can play Divx files. The catch is that I want to have "multisession" DVDs - adding a new file every once in a while. This is as opposed to burning them all at once. Can this be done? I have tried but the Player (Philips and Terrapin) both only recognize the firs file burned. I'm using Nero6 to burn and have tried DVD-R and DVD+R and DVD-RW. Any ideas?
Hello, You need to do DVD authoring if you want to have multiple video files on one DVD. (mulitsession is not possible explains why your player is only seeing the first file--despite the fact the others are probably on the disk) Here is a shareware that will convert various files to DVD format and create an automatic menu for you to browse throug them: DivxToDVD----the trial version has a watermark -(that disappears after purchasing and also speeds up encoding). This is one of the easier applications, there are others out there too.
