    Hello there!

I'm trying to put a series onto a DVD-R disc. The quality of the outcome is rather lacking, but don't really have any idea as what to do.
All of the episodes are currently in AVI (12 episodes), so i used ConvertXtoDVD to convert them into DVD. A small warning at the bottom stated the quality would be low, so i converted 6 of the episodes to start with (still low quality warning) and burnt them to DVD-R, the outcome was still awfull.

Is there a correct procedure for this? Any help is much appreciated.

You are on the right track. Reduce the number of episodes to 3, at the most 4 per disk. The less you have, the better they appear.

Just add a little; make sure to use good quality blank media. Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim.

Burn at 6x or 8x max.

I would just like to add depending on how they were first encoded, you may still find them unacceptable.
