Im wondering is there a way to take for example my Ps3 and send the output through HDMI to multiple monitors such as a projector, a television and a computer monitor. I want to be able to see and hear the exact same thing on all sources at the same time in multiple areas of my house.

Oh .. cool. Will this still be valid if i want the audio only going to one source but the image to several. For example what if i want the audio to go to a single surround sound reciever but the video to go to several different displays. Is the splitter still a valid utility, is there a certain way i would have to run it.

Oh and secondly does the splitter downgrade the quality of the image/sound at all ?

    Thanks.

If you have sound over the HDMI, you will have to MUTE the devices that you don't want sound on.

HDMI is a digital signal, there should be no loss of quality.
