please help.if i want to put for example 3 films onto 1 dvd i.e look whos talking 1,2 and three, what is the best software and process to do this? thanks
You could combine them all using dvd shrink(without menus)but the compression level is going to be pretty high. http://www.dvdshrink.info/compilation.php
[bold]bobright[/bold] , if you don't know what you're on about .. I'd prefer it if you left it to ppl that actually do !! [bold]jim_dandy[/bold] left the exact link I would've done if I had found this thread to reply to first (good work as always Jim). Please keep comments on a relative basis bob eh ; )
hi guys... and if it were me i would like a menu on those 3 films to one disc, and i use tmpgenc dvd author for the menu making, a simpler app for this than alot about but its good enough, and if you get into it abit you can have part of the movie as button links (moving not still) or moving background image from the films, have a play its great but not a free app...
yes mr. herbsman - thought he meant a couple parts of a movie and thuoght id throw out anotehr option
@herbie,thanks I appreciate that I'm with Rotary as far as TMPGEnc dvd author goes. You can do alot of neat things with that program, like set a menu page to play your favorite line in the movie. You can import pictures off a site like http://cdcovers.cc/ or make motion menu's,to make everything look professional. There are more thorough authoring programs available, but most of them have a pretty steep learning curve. download http://www.pegasys-inc.com/en/download/tda.html guide http://www.dvd-guides.com/content/view/53/59/
hi hey jim hows it going bud? yes that app can make iso files it can burn iso files, inport mpegs to make dvd, yes love it!
Im doing good, except for the oppressive heat we have been having lately *whew* My wife rips dvds as mpeg 1's, and loads them up in dvd author, and makes "compilation" dvds to be played in travel dvd players. She can get 4 movies on one dvd, and on a 5 to 7 inch screen, you cant tell the difference. If you have small children, thats a long time before you hear..."are we there yet?" LOL
