Why not just repartition an reinstall what you want, Get a dual boot working? What do you have against modders? Why would you want 98, or ME When you can use XP or different flavors of Linux>?

Cool, Back up all your data and redo it all. I use my X BoX's hdd as a backup for all my files and media. I reinstall XP every 2 months or so. So all my important files are on the X BoX when I need them.

Just put in the original XP cd and do a reinstall. You will be given the option to remove other drives, and you can keep your current file system intact. Just read the screens carefully. After you reinstall you will choose a different user name. Go to documents and settings and copy and paste what you need. Do not remove the other user for that could cause conflicts with your OS. simple as pie! Well, not for me! I don't cook!)
