I'm using ConvertXtoDVD software to convert video files for DVD-5 play. I would like to place multiple VOB files into one DVD so that I could use up to the total allotment of 4.7GB per DVD. Which preferred software that is compatible with Windows 7 would help with this? ConvertXtoDVD can also burn the converted video file(VOB) but only one entire video file folder at a time to a single DVD. I need to burn several converted video files/folders onto a single DVD.
I believe DVDshrink will allow you to load from multiple DVD VOB Sets and combine them into one image (with each set being a separate Title on the finished disc), although the "how-to" is something I can't help with - you'd have to look it up. Shrink doesn't do menus, though. On the other hand, TMPGenc (which costs $$ ) will definitely let you do it without re-encoding anything (as long as you don't try to fit more than the disc will normally hold). Also, it does pretty good menus.
You can also try Womble EasyDVD. It has a feature that lets you import your multiple video-ts folders, add menu for them, and then burn onto a single DVD disc without re-encoding. Great piece of software and very easy to use. A tutorial on their site: http://womblesoft.com/support/tutorials/03-how-to-combine-multiple-dvds-to-one-single-dvd.html
