When burning music fles off my computer to a CD-R, the last track always seems to burn onto the CD as track 1, and the orignal track 1 becomes track 2 and so on

Most burning programs will burn the files in alphabetical order. To put the files in the order you want, it is easiest to number them starting with 01,02,03,etc. at the start of the file name.

If it's an audio CD and you're using 'Drag and Drop' be aware that Windows copies the file closest to the Drag cursor first. If you drag from the bottom of the list, that's the first file.
