Hello Everyone, I would really appreciate your help. I have spent a couple hours reading about different programs and so far I have just wasted my time. I was wondering if someone else has already done the leg work and could save me some time. I am a currently a DJ and all our music is MP3's ripped at a 192kbps. We are currently expanding into doing Music Videos along with our karaoke and music. The speed bump along the way has been finding a good program to rip DVDs to AVIs. The music videos come on dvds as one single title but separated by chapters. Since each dvd had roughly 60 music videos we were looking for a program that could possibly title the AVIs by the name of the chapter. If you could help, it is greatly appreciated. THANKS!!! -James Smyth
DVD Decrypter can rip a DVD by chapters. The required chapters are selected and demuxed to a folder. Each chapter will be a .vob file. Each of these files can be loaded up into AGK as a job, then the whole batch can be converted to avi files in one session. It's up to you to give the AVI file a unique name. Generally, you run DVD Decrypter. Select IFO mode. Elect to split the PGC by chapter and demux. http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/dvddec.htm http://elliottback.com/wp/how-to-rip-a-dvd-a-tutorial/ http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/dvd_to_avi_using_autogk.cfm
