I need to hear who has had GOOD LUCK w/ one of these DVD-Rs. I had the ILO HHD and took back all 4 of them......my main problem was they never played on other DVD players.....older ones, but when i tested a new one at the store w/ a disk i burned it worked...so maybe i jumped the gun. but...then the next one wouldn't FORMAT.....it was always something. I am now hooked on having the HHD.....sure we can get a DVR for under $80 but its great to have that extra video hard drive for all kinds of projects. Yes i have TiVo......this allows me to save stuff, remove commecials even use for security cams.......my point is it was almost worth keeping just for the HHD feature. But the need for [burn to DVD] is a must. But it would be nice to know that if i send a disk to someone it will work on their player. SO WHAT IS THE BEST ONE for under $350...the low budget ones ? Mustek has goodmarks for the portable ones but not all DVRs. LiteOn.......who makes this ? Do all HDD have editing like ILO ? Thanks
LiteOn makes LiteOn and is probably the best budget HHD model available ... There's lots of on=line support available
I've had the same sort of problems with ILO. Are there any more threads around here that discuss LiteOn?
