I have a Qoob SX and it works great, the only thing I wish I could get working was the mutli-disc games. I mean in the case of RE4, as long as I have a saved game from the second disc, and if I load it up with the second disc, I can play from that point just fine. I guess with the current bios of the Qoob, I have 1.3a, the whole switching discs process doesn't work. The main reason for the post here was though to ask if anyone knows of any future bios releases or any other ways to get it working in the meantime, or sometime in the near future. Just curious if anyone has any info. Thanks in advance.
Does anyone know if both the Qoob PRO & Qoob SX are the only modchips to have this problem, and is it because of the BIOS or just limitations of the hardware of the modchip. Do mutli-disc games work using the Viper modchip? Would it be possible to rip out the 'garbage' data from a multi-disc game, and but it all to 1 full size DVD-R? Sorry if these questions were answered before, I just couldn't find anything about this looking through the past posting. Thanks in advance if anyone has any info. Qoob SX 1.3a BIOS
Go on the configuration screen and make sure disc swap is on. You really shouldn't be having this problem with the 13.a bios.
