    Hi

I have recently bought a DVD player capable of playing an Xvid or DivX straight from the disc. What I want to be able to do is create a menu for the files that will overrisde the players inbuilt file directory system.

IE, at present I put burn a DVD data disc with 6 avi Xvid files on it, I put the disc in my player and it opens a directory structure which allows me to scroll up and down through the list and choose the file I play, I want to be able to replace this with my own menu. I DO NOT want to re-encode the video to a DVD Video disk as this will reduce the amount I can get on and the quality, I want the files to stay exactly as they are but to have a "prettier" menu system.

    Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks for your time, I have tried extensive searches for this on here but had no luck.

    Frankie Vaughn.

it is not possible to do that and keeping the DVD compatibility ..
sure it would be nice to be able to do that. but there is no norm to drive the divx player file system. on my point of view, you have no choice than convert.
