Have you your wifi set up in the box , you must have your wifi set up , go to main apps on the box look for app mx settings app will have a cog on it , open the app , should no see settings , you will see two boxes one wifi and one ethernet, if the wifi box is not ticked , tick that box and you will then have to put in your modem password and connect

Ps you can also go to back to were you posted on the forum look for piopats newbies guide to mx boxes , read down the first page and should give you a good idea how to startup , if you need more help post again how far you have got lol
    Cheers.....

DoZ by what your saying it seems to be an issue with your TV , if you have hdmi plugged in to box and in to TV , you should at least get the box logo on your TV screen, can you tell me how many hdmi slots you have on the TV , if you have two and you have the box plugged in to a different hdmi slot , you have to change the hdmi source on your TV remote to get the box picture , let me know we're you have the box hdmi plugged to TV ?
    Cheers

if its plugged in to hdmi you should have the option o your tv remote to switch to hdmi 1, hdmi 2, scart, av etc. if having no joy try a different hdmi lead
