Actually, it is my sister in-law's. I wouldn't have a Mac. I am posting the same on the Mac forum but often you guys have a better understanding of Mac tech issues than the Mac forum. I actually have a PC like this, that I want to chuck the drive 60 g and start fresh with an old 500 g drive collecting dust. My daughter has an expensive game on that computer that she ruined the main install disk. I don't get into the family politics plus I rairly use it. I am guessing the Mac has too much garbage on the disk and maybe it is running out of space. I am not even sure helping them speed up the Mac a bit is even a good idea.
So what are you asking? If you can swap HDDs? Cause there wasnt a question any where Anyways with out knowing anything other then Mac. All I can suggest is swap out the drives and see if it works.
I wouldn't recomend anything...I don't know what your goals are...to save the game and transfer it to PC? To buy a new mac and transfer the game to it? To confuse the people of two different forums?
Sorry for the confusion, Xplorer4 gave me what I wanted from this forum. I will suggest they buy a new computer then I know a Mac guy who lives in their general location. He can put in a bigger drive and do what ought to be done but that process might be slow. I am getting suggestions as to what to buy on the Mac forum.
