aD has two links to My Account at the top of the page. I think the one at the top left should be a link to "List of discussion threads you have subscribed" Thanx
there one of those links on the home page every time you sign in, and there's one in My Account that's plainly obvious. i don't really see a need for another, but that's my take.
Link at top left My Account Link at top right Edit My Account These both take you to the "Welcome to My Account page.", which is a bit redundant. Plus I am lazy, why go through one page to get to another. I like shortcuts.
I don't subscribe to any threads.. fed up of heaps and heaps of notifications in my inbox.. I bookmark threads I'm following and delete the links when it is finished.

and i never made mention of your rank, by the way. on a site where rank is based on your number of posts, it means diddly squat. you'll see that i very, very rarely even poke the topic of rank in any context but one such as this, as all that matters it the quality of your posts and your repuation.
Well I am not a guru that is for sure. My help is generally short and not so sweet. I learned most this on my "own" [surfing] with a few informed questions. I prefer to point the way, than lead someone by the hand. Which does not seem to be the favored approach here at aD. But usually stick the threads that have gone by the way side. Some people take this help shite too seriously. F-um if they can't take a joke.
back on topic.. I tend to look at the list of updated topics every so often. It's an admin/moderator habit I picked up a while ago. Aye, I'm a rare creature. A geek-girl with an interest in technology. Not afraid to have a strong opinion either, especially when it comes to the Microcrap monopoly.
back on topic... Well the suggestion does not seem to interest anyone but myself. Just an idea. I have plenty of time to kill lately so it's no biggie. Microcrap monopoly. I like that. Too bad that anti-trust crap did not help more. Vista more of the same. It is like the automotive industry. Why improve technology when you throw some chrome on and make the peasants happy. Of course sooner or later that will bite you in the "you know where".
Suggestions are suggestions. I'm sure the admins scan them on a regular basis as a form of "customer feedback" This kind of thread is why I have a lot of time for certain members here, and feel I have made some very good friends over the last 2 years.
