For the past couple of weeks my email Inbox has been driving insane........ Because I surf the net alot and at times go to places in never never regions - I realise I have to expect to get some crap in my inbox! But.......... just today for example I've been offered: * a $7,500 Platinum Credit Line shopping card, * to find out how to Drive It In Deep (definitely a problem when I haven't got an IT) * SMS Tarot Readings * a mobile phone * browse an online listing of real wives wanting to have affairs (Its a man I need and definitely NOT a married one) * a Mental Health Insurance Policy (mmmmmmm maybe this person knows me personally and * a $98 cosmetic collection for $1 with a holiday thrown in! Oh yeah and would you look at that - two personal emails from people that I actually know!! note to self - keep on updating your message rules and one day in the future you'll only get the messages you were meant to get!
My hotmail account is pretty bad , although I have filter on strict (where's that whip). MSN is well known for it's SPAM & Microsoft have been told to clean up their act ... as it is alldged they're not doing enough to stop it (which is so0O true). Microsoft just got fined here in Europe for €200 million or something for bundling their media player in Windows & not offering any competition (hehehe). Windows Media Player 9 is such a low down dirty skanky piece of @&^? Oh yeah , as for my ISP e-mail address(es) , I have them on known contacts only ;-) LMAO @ confidence in your own sanity ;-) [what IS sane anyway]!!? http://www.tobp.com/humor/beerman.shtml Time for bed - 3am GMT ... [bold]P.S.[/bold] Dave leave those lusty lonely housewives alone mate ... you don't know where they've been (lmao)
I get about 50 junk e-mails a day in my hospital account. All I mainly get is prescriptions, cheap software, software adds to burn DVD`s to CD`s and random company add crap. Not too much porn crap yet. Nephilim, I would stay away from those house wifes. Join that service for married people that what afairs but no commitments. Then no worries.
i read somewhere that there are like 8-10 people who are responsible for like 95% of the spam sent to everyones email addresses, damn if I only knew where they lived, and what there email addresses were. A few of them were arrested after the recent implementations of new spamming laws in the us. damn I could rant all day about how useless spam is, not to mention about 0.001% of spam gets response, but if each email gets you a dollar and you send 6 billion emails that translates to $6,000,000, there's some food for thought
After a long and tough day it was great to come in here and read your replies!! You've just cheered me up no end.....it is all such a scream! Mmmmmm must check on that "known contacts only " bit might be very very helpful!!
