    I used dvd x copy platinum and when I backed it up, the begining was skipping. The dvd wasn't scratch and the orignal played normal on powerdvd.
    Does anybody whats wrong with it.

    ...I have the same problem with this movie. I've tried using DVD Shrink, Decrypter, XCopyXpress....same results on all of them. Also, the ripped files still contain the French audio even though I tried to remove it during the ripping process. The skipping mentioned previously occurs while playing back the vob's on my harddrive, so it's not a media problem.

    I ripped it successfully using dvd shrink,and nero ultra 6.So it can be done,and even by a newbie like me! lol
    I dont use the xcopy programs,im into the freeware,so i dont know what the problem is,but its not impossible.As a matter of fact, im watching the backup right now,looks, and sounds great!!
