I just bought an Ipod Nano (2gb). iTunes will not pick it up, iPod updater wont either. I have read the previous thread that says to place it in "Disk Mode." I have done that and still nothing! When I go to "my computer" it will show removable disk F, but when you click on it the computer freezes up and I have to go to task manager to close it. Can someone please help???!!!
This doesn't really have much to do with the thread, but when did you get your iPod Six5Alive because they just made a bunch of new iPods. Just wondering because I would hate myself if this happened to me
Ummm... If you haven't fixed the problem and your using a PC. You can just format the Ipod using the windows format program and then set it into disk mode and just see if ipod updater will detect it... you can also just reboot the ipod OS by pressing the center button and menu at the same time for about 6 seconds and then in the reboot screen... which is an apple logo without the backlight... just press center button and play. that will set it in disk mode. update it or restore it if the program detects it
HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was meesing around with my Nano last night, thinking that all hope was lost. But then I remembered to go to the disk management part of my pc, I plugged in the Nano and right clicked "format," pc formatted it and the "BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE!" It works like a charm!
