My burner has forgotten it is a burner

    I have recently had a new hard drive installed and therefore renewed the OS and other software on my Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro 2020. Unfortunately, although the combi CD/ DVD drive plays both CD and DVD it has forgotten it should also be able to record.

    Is this a driver issue ? The driver states it is Microsoft 1/7/2001 and version 5.1.2535.0

    When I use Nero it has a write error immediately at 1%

    Help !!

    Post the last section of your Nero History that begins:

    ==== Nero Burning ROM Nero History ====
    program serial number

    Delete the serial number and your name before posting.

    The file is located in the path Program Files -> Ahead -> Nero -> NeroHistory.
