Hi, thank you all for your help in advance. I am having trouble burning anything with my burner, from DVDs to CDs it just wont do it. my drive is able to read discs fine but when I pop a blank disc in then it wont burn, it just gets stuck with Nero. I've been using Nero ever since day one and it worked fine. Can somebody tell me where to start? Also my other laptop is having a problem as well, i've been burning Wii games fine but until today after not using it for a few days, it fails to detect a blank disc. it's an internal laptop burner. Thanks guys for your help.
i had this problem with nero before. i do not know if you have tried to do this, but when you get to the screen were all of your settings are. On the top of the screen there is a place where it sends the image check to see if it is sending it to the dvd drive or to a place on the hard drive. Hopwfully this will help you
Go to control panel, then go to computer management. Then go to the list of ide controllers. right click them one by one and click uninstall. Then restart your computer.
