My Combo DVD/R Cd/RW drive only plays chinese DVDS

    I just came back from mainland china and got a new combo dvd drive. the only problem is that now it can only play bootleg chinese dvd's. all my north american orignal dvd's don't work and program cd's like windows, or anything like that don't work either. It also doesnt burn north american cd's either. I don't know what to do. Maybe I need to install Aspi driver or something? can someone help thanks I am in Canada by the way

    Thanks I actually read afterwords Newbie mistake forgive me...how would I go abouts changing the region codes?
