Rather than send the HijackThis log, which only a few people can read, why don't you start with What antivirus program you have used, what virus it told you have, and why the AV software couldn't remove it?

You would most likely get more and faster results if there aren't any Hijack this experts browsing the forum.

    Discovered: May 13, 2006
    Updated: May 14, 2006 5:41:43 AM
    Also Known As: PE_VIRUT.A [Trend]
Systems Affected: Windows 98, Windows 95, Windows XP, Windows Me, Windows NT, Windows 2000

W32.Virut.A is a virus that infects executable files and opens a back door on TCP port 65520 by connecting to a predefined IRC server.

The virus creates an event named VT_3 so that only one copy of the threat runs on the compromised computer.

It will infect any accessed .exe or .scr file by appending itself to the executable. However it will not infect files starting with one of the following strings:
    WC32
    WCUN
    WINC

The virus opens a back door on TCP port 65520 by connecting to the Proxima.ircgalaxy.pl IRC server on channel &virtu using a random nick name.

The back door allows an attacker to download files onto the compromised computer.

    W32/Forbot-Gen

    Type Worm

W32/Forbot-Gen detects members of the Forbot family of worms.
W32/Forbot-Gen worms typically attempt to spread to remote shares and open a backdoor on an infected computer.
W32/Forbot-Gen worms typically copy themselves to the Windows system folder and create registry entries under the following locations in order to run on system startup:
    HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
    HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
    HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices
    HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
    HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce

Neither of these are very new, unless they are mutations.

Did you try removing them with AVGFree?

    Here's a thread abou removing Win32:Delf-XQ:

    http://forums.pcworld.co.nz/archive/index.php/t-80771.html

Bad news is that you may have to format and reinstall the OS because of possible mass file infection from W32/virut.a!:
