My computer Starts slow and the apps opens slow

    It takes 30secs time from the mercury page in monitor, then it goes blank then the windows loading page comes what could be the reason....

    My applications when starting is very slow and switching between programs is also very slow.. (alt+tabbing).

    Ya I do need assistance. Please check the log and suggest me what to do thankyou for taking time to read. And still in the taskmanager a program called ctfmon.exe runs even after ending the process it again runs, even when i delete the file in c:/windows/system32/ctfmon.exe, it reappears again which is very sad, i want to end it or should i reinstall my system. Please help.

    I explained what ctfmon.exe was before.

    Here's want I said last time:

    "Ctfmon.exe monitors the active windows and provides text input service support for speech recognition, handwriting recognition, keyboard, translation, and other alternative user input technologies."

    Note: The ctfmon.exe file is located in the folder C:\Windows\System32
    In other cases, ctfmon.exe is a virus, spyware, trojan or worm!"

    Then you disappeared, after 9 Jan 2008.
