ok i just found out that i can hook my computer up to my my 5.1 surround sound using a digital Optical Audio Cable but heres the thing i only one spot on my reviece for one and that is already being used. so what i'm wondering is there any way for me to do this with another Digital Optical Audio Cable and some type connectors that will allow me to plug it into a a/v jack?

Nah, just switch them when you want to use one or the other... is it that hard? I have to do that with my Gamecube and my Xbox.

Most receivers have only one optical in so you're going to have to make due :)

Oh, well. Life isn't perfect. A Surround receiver with two optical audio ports runs about $2000 I'd guess.

Have fun with it anyways :)
