my dbox is down

    Hi all anyone know the codes for the dbox???? PLEASE help im at my wits end with this box.NOT BEEN WORKING SINCE LAST WEEK.

    do you have access to your DBox via a PC as the fix involves copy over 4 files to the DBox.

    can you please tell me how to copy the 4 files from my computer

    connect to the dbox via a FTP program (cuteftp for example)

    go to /var/keys folder

    copy the files fro your PC to this folder using the FTP application

    reboot the dbox

    go to Sky Sports 1 and leave it their for 1 minute and the channel will clear and Sky Sports 1 will appear (on mine it took about 5 seconds)

    Hi guys
    My Nokia Dbox2 is down has been since last Tues. I am using the Don image, I went into the menus mucked about eg, forced it to look for updated keys. I got the programs back for a while, however they disappeared again after a couple of hrs.
    I wonder if zappp64 could inform me where to get the 4 files that will have to be transfered from PC to the Dbox.
    I have been reading online that you need to use a ftp, I have flash fxp this is supposed to be good. I really dont know, have never tried this before. I also understand that you need a crossover cable and a Nul modem cable, dont know if I have to use them both together or singly?.
    I am going to try ebay for the cables.
    I would be grateful to know where to get the 4 files, then once I get the cables I would let you know how I got on.
