My desktop folder in my user folder vanishes on reboot

My desktop folder in my user folder vanishes on reboot.

My favorites folder disappears too.

Running WinXP SP3

I reformed then it started. I reformed again and it still did it.

Might be dirt on my disc but check it and it's ok.

I keep a copy of Desktop and Favorites folders and copy paste them into my user folder for now.

Using program called synergy so testing to see if it will happen again after turning on share files.

Send me some help or the teddy bear gets it
