I'd remove InCD. It's highly unstable, as is all packet-writing software. If you want to use re-writables, use Nero burning Rom and make a multisession disc if necessary.

The best thing to do is uninstall Nero (write down your serial number first), then download the CleanTool from the Nero site for your version and run that. Then reinstall, this time, without InCD. InCD causes major stability problems. You might also want to run TeaTimer (comes with SpyBot Search and Destroy) and Deny any attempts to place registry keys to allow things to run at startup. Nero, like most software these days, installs a ton of crap in the background, none of which you need, and which often causes more problems.

hey dunker where do i find the serial number and the problem is every time open dvdfab it says failed to intialize burning engine. I've already used the cleaning tool for InCd. Should i just uninstall the whole nero and get another one if so which would be the best free on to get and if so could you post a link. thanks

What I do - and there might be another way but it's good to know this anyway - is in the Nero log in C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Core\Nerohistory.log. It's in the top line(s). If you ever have to post your log, you'll want to erase the serial number so no one else uses it.

It might be a good idea to uninstall Nero. There are only certain versions of Nero which are stable (specifically, Nero 6.6.0.18 is the only stable version of Nero 6, and the only good versions of Nero 7 are 7.0.8.2. 7.5.7.x or later appear to be stable but they are very new.) Also, if you've had older versions installed, it's best to use the CleanTool for each version you've had as well as your current one. Then reinstall fresh, without InCD. As I mentioned earlier, it's also a good idea to keep all that stuff from being installed into the background because you don't need any of it. Once properly installed (and the Nero folks don't make this as easy as it should be!) Nero is highly stable and will give you years of excellent service.
