   I have a SONY DVD-+RW (DRU 510a)Burner however I just tried to play a DVD+R a friend give me, It will play in my DVD player hook-up to the TV but NOT on my PC.
   I just tried updating the Firmware but still No Luck.
   Any Ideas ??

   How old is the drive? Sounds like yor playback laser is weak or your eye is dirty ...
