Hi everyone, anywho, I was having trouble using ridata for some reason, so I went out today and bought a spindle of verbatim DVD-R's I pop the first one in, and its working fine. It recognizes the dvd in dvd decrypter, and I start to backup a game midway, I decide to cancel it... and hit the cancel button. The program says its shutting down or cancelling, or whatever... but nothing more happens. so I realize maybe the program has frozen.. teh whole time, the dvd burner light is on. I click ctrl+alt+del and shutdown the program. Then reboot my computer Now, whenever I put anything into the drive, it makes 2-3 clicking sounds... and wont recognize anything.. DVD decrypter says "Device Not Ready (Logical Unit is in process of becoming ready)" at the bottom.... and nothing happens... Anyone have any ideas at all on what happened or how I can fix my dvd burner?
try two things.. unistall ur dvd rom software, then open up ur pc, unplug all the stuff thats connected to your dvd rom, leave it for about 5min, plug it in, install ur software and it should work
