how the in the world can i make my dvd burner read Saving Private Ryan i am baffled this is the 3rd dvd that won't play in my dvd burner in the last week. the other 2 were Hard Candy and 3rd Disc of My Name Is Earl Season One, anyone have any ideas about why or what kind of new code they have or even if i need a new burner this one has been great for me anyways please please post anything that could help TY!! By the way my dvd burner is a Mad Dog multimedia 16x 6 in 1 format thanks tons Hendrix77
@Hendrix77, Are you just playing them or making backups? If the latter, Hard Candy and My Name Is Earl may have the new protections on them. They are getting more sophisticated as time marches on. AnyDvd (my preference) has been updated 4 times this month. We also now have Ripit4me in our arsenal. http://www.ripit4me.org/guide.html Private Ryan should be no problem, you most likely have a dirty or scratched disc. Clean, then try again.
