My DVD Burner wont recoginze empty dvds anymore

    I was about to burn a image of a fileto a verbatim dvd+r dl disc using clonecd when it suddenly froze. I restarted my computer and nowit wont recoginze empty dvds anymore. Does anyone know what I shall do?

    btw. I have a LG dvd burner (DL)

    btw. worth to note is that I burned several disc in a row, if that changes anything.

    If you have Windows XP:

    Go into device manager and uninstall the drivers for that LG burner.
    Then Reboot and see if that drive will recognize those discs.XP should hook them back up properly.

    Burning discs, one after another shouldn't affect it.If so,it'll be a heat issue.

    One of my spare pcs with a benq 1640 dvd-rw drive gets lost from time to time. Same issue,won't recognize a blank in it. I just uninstall and reboot that drive and issue solved.
