MY DVD drive won't do anything

I have a DVD/Rw drive and it has worked perfectly in the past but now it does nothing it won't play CD's, I can't burn anymore and the anything I can do something is play a DVD movie and that's every blue moon.

 

You gave no information of substance, except my car won't start. Maybe some info on the make and model of the burner would help.

With the information that you gave, I would say to pull the drive out of your computer, throw it away, and get a new on.

 

Or just keep it and use it as a paperweight...
