ok nothing has changed in the fact that i have opened the case and moved anything,but all of a sudden my nec burner has stopped wanting to write to dvd-rw and will only perform when a cdr-rw or a dvd-r is incerted. if a dvd-rw is put in it will freeze "my computer" i have no access to nero and the green light flashes constantly..if i eject -it all comes back at an instance...i have borrowed an lg external dvd writer from a mate and same thing happens when i insert said discs. memorex dvd-rw any advice gratefully welcome cheers
i had the same problem.apparently there was too much dust in my drive..fust blow it out using a high pressure blower
