I recently purchased a computer with lots of RAM and Memory. It played my DVDs great, at first. I started getting movies and burning them to DVD-R. I had to download some codecs so I could play some of the movies if I wanted to view them before putting them on disc. I made several DVDs and was very pleased with the results, but the other day I put a movie in the drive and it played as though I didn't have enough mem. I thought that maybe it was just the disc so I put a couple different discs in and they all did the same thing. What did I do to my preceous puter? Please help.

There's a great antivirus out, it's called avast! and it free. Here's the link http://www.avast.com/eng/desktop_protection.html You can schedule a boot time scan (before Windows boots). That way you can scan before the virus can activate. It also has real time protection, so if you download a virus, it will detect it before you open it. It's worked great for me. Get the home edition and let us know how you get on. BTW What Spyware(s) do you use?
